I'm so very sorry for your loss, I lost my grandson at 4 months old. My family and friends tell me that I should let it go, but I can't. I understand the way that you feel, our babies left us too soon. No one on earth expects their baby to die. And yes, you are right to ask "why my baby?" I have asked and prayed this over and over. It devastated my family, almost tear our lives apart. Your husband is hurting as much as you are, he's just not able to show this, being the man he is. It would make him seem weak. My son was the same way, but he cried to himself. He loved and wanted his son very much. Believe me, your husband does not know how to open up and talk. Don't let your family and friends upset you. Know one ever knows the feeling of losing a child until they have lost one. Even you best friends. I am the grandmother and I still feel the loss. I am a mother, some people are not sympathetic or as I love to say, they just don't know. No matter how old the baby was, 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 month, or even a year. It was still a baby and human at some point. Again, people just don't understand our loss. Just remember this, you have been blessed by God, because of all the people in the world who have babies, you have an ANGEL in Heaven...Not many people on Earth can say they have an ANGEL in Heaven.
